Why Nobody Buys Until They Binge Your Content

Most people won’t buy from you after seeing one post.

They buy after they binge you.

And if you don’t build your business around that reality, you’ll keep wondering why your content feels good—but your bank account doesn’t.

After reviewing 6 months of sales data, I discovered something fascinating: nearly every coaching client who booked a call had already consumed around 60 minutes of my content.

• They’d read emails.

• Watched videos.

• Scrolled old posts.

• Listened to podcast episodes.

They didn’t stumble in cold—they were warmed up by what I now call the Bingeable Content Strategy.

Here’s how it works—and how to build your own.

Step 1: Audit What You Already Have

Before you create anything new, take stock of the assets you already own:

– Old YouTube videos

– Blog posts

– Social media content

– Podcasts or audio

– Free lead magnets

– Email sequences

– Guest appearances or collaborations

List everything. Even the old stuff.

Here’s why: I still generate leads every month from a lead magnet I made over 10 years ago—a simple goal card inspired by Bob Proctor. The content is old, but it solves a real problem. That’s what makes it binge-worthy.

Step 2: Identify the Problems Your Content Solves

Most creators make content they’re interested in—not necessarily what their audience needs.

But if you want content that converts, you need to reverse-engineer:

What problem does each asset solve?

Is it a surface-level issue (splinter pain)?

What’s the deeper problem underneath?

When you understand the motivations behind buying, you can organise your content in a sequence that feels like a Netflix series: every piece leads to the next, and every one builds trust.

Step 3: Choose the Right Formats for You

Not everyone needs to be on camera.

If you’re a great talker → use video.

If you love writing → use blog posts and emails.

If you prefer visuals → use carousels, diagrams, or story slides.

The bingeable content strategy only works when it’s sustainable.

So build with what feels natural. That way, it’s repeatable—and powerful.

Step 4: Structure a Weekly Demand System

The biggest mistake people make is waiting for sales.

Instead, build a weekly rhythm that moves people from:

→ Attention → Binge → Buy

Here’s the simple model:

Top of Week: Focus on demand creation. Share stories, insights, results. Get attention.

End of Week: Transition to calls-to-action. Turn attention into leads and buyers.

Use your binge funnel to bridge the gap. Make it easy for people to go deeper, stay longer, and raise their hand.

Step 5: Create Your 30-Day BingeFest™

When someone opts into your world (email list, lead magnet, DM), they enter your BingeFest™.

This is your 30-day, structured content sequence that:

✅ Builds demand

✅ Solves real problems

✅ Positions you as the expert

✅ Creates cliffhangers and curiosity

✅ Bridges directly to your offer

No fluff. No “just value.”

It’s a Netflix-inspired flow that leaves them saying, “I need more of this.”

Step 6: Understand Buyer Timing (And Build for All 3 Types)

Here’s the truth:

50% of people will never buy. They’re curious, not committed. That’s fine.

35% are problem-aware, but not yet looking. You need to nurture them.

15% are ready to buy now—you just need to make the next step obvious.

Your bingeable content strategy isn’t just about info—it’s about bridging interest to action. Every piece should naturally guide them toward your offer, not just entertain or inspire.

Step 7: Always Lead to the Next Step

One of the biggest mistakes I made early on?

I gave people content they loved…

…but didn’t tell them what to do next.

So they took their excitement—and bought from someone else.

Always create a bridge. Every video, blog, or post should include a call to action, an offer, or an invitation.

Don’t leave your buyers hanging.

Final Thought: People Buy When They're Ready—Not When You Post

Your job isn’t to pressure them into buying.

Your job is to create a library of bingeable content that turns cold leads into warm buyers—on their timeline, not yours.

You don’t need to post more.

You need to post smarter.

Build your binge funnel, and let your content sell for you.
