Welcome to another 10-Minute Tactic! Today, we're diving into a system that will help you get your time back while still attracting clients consistently. If you feel like you're spending all your time on marketing but not seeing results, this framework will change that.
This system will give you a repeatable process to follow, so you’re not just throwing content into the void and hoping for leads. Instead, you’ll have a structured way to attract, convert, and retain clients—without the burnout.
The 5 Essential Steps to Getting Clients Consistently
1. Define Your Perfect Future Client (PFC)
Before you do any marketing, you need absolute clarity on who you’re trying to attract. Some call it an Ideal Client Avatar (ICA), but we use the term Perfect Future Client (PFC).
Your PFC is someone who:
Values your expertise (they don’t micromanage or negotiate your pricing).
Shows up and takes action (they don’t ghost you after committing).
Gets out of your way so you can do what you do best.
To identify them, ask yourself:
What problems and challenges are they facing daily?
What frustrates them the most?
What do they desire instead?
What do they fear or aspire to have?
These insights will form the foundation of your marketing message, making it easier to attract your PFC instead of chasing the wrong clients.
2. Clarify Your Offer
Once you know your ideal client, you need to be crystal clear on what you offer them.
If you try to be everything to everyone, you end up being no one to no one. Instead, focus on a specific problem and package your solution in a way that makes it irresistible.
A great offer should:
Solve a clear problem that your PFC struggles with.
Be packaged under a memorable, unique name (e.g., The Get Clients Accelerator™).
Have a structured delivery method (1:1 coaching, group training, consulting, etc.).
Are you working 1:1 with CEOs or training a team? Are you offering an in-person service or something completely online? These details shape your offer and make it easier to sell.
3. Choose One Marketing Channel (and Stick to It)
Many business owners fail because they try too many marketing tactics at once—and end up getting nowhere. The key is to pick ONE strategy and master it.
You have three main options:
Organic marketing (social media, SEO, content creation, networking).
Paid marketing (Facebook Ads, Google PPC, YouTube Ads, LinkedIn Ads).
Partnership marketing (referrals, collaborations, joint ventures).
For most people, organic marketing is the best place to start. Once you pick your marketing channel, you need a consistent presence. That doesn’t mean you have to be everywhere—you just need to surround your PFC with your content in a way that keeps you top-of-mind.
The best way to do this? Build a Marketing Triad:
Email list (Own your audience, nurture leads consistently.)
Community or group (Create a space where your audience gathers.)
Chat-based relationships (Engage directly through DMs and messenger conversations.)
How to Get Clients Coming to YOU (Without Chasing or Begging!)
Define Your Perfect Future Client (PFC): Identify who truly values your expertise, respects your work, and is ready to invest in your solutions.
Simplify Your Marketing Strategy: Choose one primary marketing channel (organic, paid, or partnerships) and focus on building consistent visibility.
Use a Clear Conversion Process: Engage potential clients through sales calls, workshops, or DM conversations with a structured, non-salesy approach.
Commit to Consistency: Stick to your system for 6-12 months with a simple daily action plan.

4. Implement a Conversion System
Marketing gets people aware of you—but you still need a structured way to convert them into paying clients. There are multiple ways to do this:
Sales calls (Get them on a call to discuss their needs.)
Webinars/workshops (Educate them and make an offer at the end.)
DM conversations (Engage in permission-based selling through chat.)
If you’re using DMs, you need a process that makes it smooth and natural. A great chat flow moves from:
Starting the conversation
Building a relationship
Identifying their needs
Presenting your offer (if they’re a fit)
Selling should feel like a conversation—not a pitch.
5. Commit to One System for at Least 6-12 Months
The biggest mistake most people make? They give up way too soon. They go hard for a week, expect overnight results, and then quit when it doesn’t happen.
Instead, you need a commitment framework that keeps you on track:
90-Day Sprints (Long enough to see progress, short enough to stay focused.)
6-Week Sprints (For rapid testing and iteration.)
Weekly execution plans (So you know exactly what to do each day.)
Your success is built on consistency. If you pick a system and stick to it, you will get results.
Your Daily Growth Plan: The “Everyday Essentials”
To keep your system running smoothly, follow this simple daily process:
20 new connections per day (Add your PFC on LinkedIn, Instagram, or your platform of choice.)
10 meaningful comments (Engage with your audience’s content.)
5 direct messages (Start real conversations—not sales pitches.)
1 offer per week (Make an offer to someone who’s the right fit.)
This is how you get high-quality clients without wasting time on ineffective marketing.
By following this system, you’ll attract better quality clients, spend less time chasing leads, and finally feel in control of your business.
